Spanesi Wheels Update Process 2024-1.0 (Sept 26, 2024)

  1. Perform all Windows Operating System updates prior to any Spanesi Wheels updates.

  2. Check the current version of the Wheels software and vehicle database.

    1. Open Spanesi SpA Wheels 1.1.

    2. Click Settings then View Updates.

    3. On the left hand side of the screen find the Update Number.  If the first number is less than 030, you need a software update. FIG. 1.

    4.  If you are already at update 030 and have around 30294 cars in your system, your all up to date.  Car count may be slightly higher if you have a special car in your system such as Rivian or Lucid Motors.

  3. Next, download and install update #030. 

    1.  Close Spanesi SpA Wheels 1.1 before any updates.

    2. Click on the following link to download the update.   Click Here to download Touch Wheels Zip.  It is also possible to type this link into your web browser to download.

    3. After the file is downloaded, click on it to open then select EXTRACT ALL. FIG. 2

    4. After the file is extracted, find and double click the SETUP.EXE file.  This will start the installation of the update. FIG. 3

    5. When the update has finished, restart the computer. FIG. 4

    6. When the updates are complete,  you can check how many cars are in the database by opening Spanesi SpA Wheels 1.1, then clicking View Updates then Settings.  The car count is in the middle of the screen and should be close to 30294 cars after the update. FIG. 5
